“Integrating the Sacred and the Profane”

This is a collaboration with the jewellery artist and stone carver, Mica Monaghi, RCA graduate. Her work is detailed, consists of stone carving with powerful materials such as: Quartz, Sodalite, Blue Lace Agate, Chrysoprase, Moss Agate.

As a storyteller, I love to create collaborations with other artists to invoque visual poetry. Here we are exploring the body and the relationship with objects, amulets and rituals. Her carving techniques are exquisite; the connection between gemstones and healing , the power of the stones transformed into contemporary amulets are of great interest to me, that is why we united our creative skills to bring to life this images. At the moment I study the ancient wisdom of Stones and the Medicine in them.
